DERCON (Digital Earth Consortium) To keep scientists of MoES institutes abreast with the latest developments in their respective research areas, ministry established DERCON (Digital Earth Consortium) in the year 2010. The business model of e-journal consortium, allows subscription to costly journals at a discounted cost. If members become a part of the consortium, they have access to the entire subscribed/recommended contents of the individual members.It is observed that by increasing the range of choice, member’s research output quality proportionately increases. Through the portal, the members can access to the contents round the clock, irrespective of location. Members are requested to get in touch with DERCON headquarters for user-id and password.
